2018 Wild Water Open Canoe Downriver National Championships results

Team Colorado hosted another successful race this summer. The 2018 Wild Water Open Canoe Downriver National Championships had a reasonable turnout with junior athletes from Colorado, Maine, and Spain competing together. The national champions for each class, the 2018 members of the junior wild water team, and a link to times can be found at: https://www.usawildwater.com/news/2018/2018%20Wildwater%20Nationals%20Results.html

Team Colorado put up a very strong show against our competition and many athletes pulled out on top. Nate Foster, Amanda Creek, Ben Deitsch, Ethan Putnam, and Kartik Raghavan all won national titles as individuals and Deitsch/Spencer as a team. There were sever other notable placements in secondary classes and open canoe classes throughout racing.

This was a great race and thank you to Nate Lord and everyone from Team Colorado who put in tremendous effort to make this race run smoothly.
